How routing rules work
Each rule has a priority, conditions and a destination. Rules are checked in priority order, and the first match wins.
| Part | Options |
|---|---|
| Conditions | Project, location and source — or “Any” |
| Sends to | AI pipe, human pipe, or the assignee’s choice |
| Agent | A named agent or the least busy agent |
| Active | Switch any rule on or off without deleting it |
Example rules
- Referrals go straight to a human, least busy agent.
- Walk-ins go to a human — the on-site sales manager.
- Leads for one flagship project in Mumbai go to that project’s agent.
- Property portal leads are nurtured by AI first.
- Everything else follows the assignee’s preference.
Test before you switch on
Pick a project, location and source, run a test, and see which rule matches and which pipe the lead would enter — before any real lead is affected. Drag rules to change their priority.
Frequently asked questions
What is lead routing?
Lead routing automatically decides who handles each new lead, based on rules such as project, location and source.
Can routing send leads to AI instead of a person?
Yes. Each rule can send leads to the AI pipe, the human pipe, or let the assignee choose.
What does “least busy” mean?
The lead goes to the agent who currently has the lightest workload, so leads are shared fairly.
Can I test a rule before using it?
Yes. Enter a project, location and source to see which pipe a lead with those details would enter.
